Community Impact Programs are offered to community organizations and local schools upon request. *available in Spanish and English

Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy

The research-based curriculum includes:

  • Informed and In Charge® (Girls, 6th-12th grade): Helps girls develop critical thinking skills and effective decision-making related to puberty, sexual health, and relationships.
  • Healthy Relationships (Girls, 6th-12th grade): to help identify healthy vs. unhealthy behaviors in a variety of relationships, while creating boundaries and using assertive communication.
  • BABY R® (Youth, 9th-12th grade) – Baby R examines parenthood’s physical, emotional, and financial aspects through real-life examples and educational activities.

The research-based curriculum includes:

  • Mind+Body: Stress Management® (Girls, 5th-12th grade) – defining stress, identifying symptoms of stress, situations that cause stress, and learning healthy stress management techniques
  • Girl Talk®: (Girls, 4th-8th grade) Provides information related to puberty, reproductive health, and personal hygiene.
  • Substance Abuse Prevention® (Youth, 9th-12th grade) – Examining the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
  • Love is Not Abuse:(Youth, 8th -12th grade)- A teen dating violence workshop that helps students understand the types of abuse, warning signs, and how to help themselves, a friend, or a family member.
  • Mean Girls (Girls, 6th -12th grade)- Participants discuss the seven types of mean girl behaviors and conflict resolution.

The research-based curriculum includes:

  • Life Skills(Youth, Grades 4th – 6th) – Educates students on making friends, recognizing bullying, and what to do if bullied.*
  • Kid-Ability!® (Youth, Grades K-4) – Educates students on how to stay safe by learning to identify unsafe situations, good vs. bad touches, and what to do if approached by strangers.*
  • Internet Safety/Cyberbullying (Youth, 3rd-12th grade) – Includes basic tips on being safe online, what to do if they encounter an online predator, and what to do if they are being bullied online.
  • Positive Adolescent Choices Training® (PACT) (Youth, 6th-12th grades) – Provides violence education, anger management techniques, and coping skills.
