The Bold Futures Breakfast
Join us on Thursday, March 09, 2023, at the Fennec, for our annual Bold Futures Breakfast event. This event is a yearly fundraiser for Girls Inc. of Central Alabama. Every year, our extraordinary Host Committee, Board of Directors, and staff come together to highlight mentorship, community, and the impact of the Girls Inc. experience. The breakfast allows us to raise necessary support for our newest initiative, Project Accelerate, and our other evidence-based programs. Play Like A Girl
Join us on Saturday, May 20th for our yearly Adult Field Day Competition, Play Like A Girl!
Planned by our Junior Board, the Committee of 25, this field day is a throwback to grade school, built with adults in mind. We’ve got classic events like tug of war and relay races- plus some crazy new games.
Teams will earn points in each event to add up to their total for the day while enjoying local food trucks, great music, and our brand-new kids’ zone! There’s no required gender ratio, but co-ed teams are encouraged. Teams will be scored for every event against all teams.
Will your team have what it takes to take home the Ruler of the field title? Grab some friends, start your team, and get ready to play like a girl!
Spectators are welcome to attend and watch the fun unfold from 10 AM to 2 PM. Website coming soon!

On March 10th, 2022, we celebrated the power of mentorships at our inaugural Bold Futures Breakfast! Thanks to an incredible outpouring of support, we successfully raised over $130,000! Click here to watch the program.
